Join us for a creative adventure as we bring O’Hare the Hare to life—a charming and mischievous character from a make-believe children’s book! In this fun and imaginative watercolor class, you’ll learn how to create a whimsical illustration that’s perfect for young readers.
Whether you’re just starting out or looking to expand your skills, we’ll cover a variety of watercolor techniques—from foundational washes to more advanced layering and detail work. You’ll also experiment with ink and watercolor pencils to add texture, personality, and sparkle to your artwork.
This is a great opportunity to play with color, explore storytelling through art, and have a blast while doing it!

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Elvira Rascov, an accomplished Colombian American artist, loves to render nature in watercolors and oils. Elvira has taken her art a notch further, and used these painting techniques to create groovy functional ceramics.
Inspired by her early teachers in Bogotá, Elvira teaches Art throughout the Bay Area, making painting fun and expressive.
When she is not busy capturing the soft California landscapes with its soothing hues of yellows and greens, she is experimenting with cityscapes.
