My artwork reflects the techniques I learned on my watercolor and oil painting classes in Colombia. The California landscapes have been my inspiration in this past twenty years. I really enjoy traveling to different places and copying the scenery with my watercolors. When I paint on the spot I often spend and hour making a general sketch. Usually I use small size paper so I can finish the painting in less time. I love to paint the Golden California Mountains in contrast with the blue sky.

My journey with ceramics started ten years ago. Today I apply my painting techniques to my ceramic pieces. I use under glazes to imitate the watercolor effect. I like to paint landscapes, animals and flowers on ceramics. My ceramic pieces are functional and unique due to their different drawings.

You can find my ceramic work at Aegis Gallery in Saratoga, California

Currently I am teaching watercolor classes at Los Gatos-Saratoga Community Education and Recreation in Los Gatos, California.

Also I am a member of the National League of American Pen Women since 2021.
