Theme: Nature Noticed

This exhibition invites students to explore and observe nature through watercolor and gouache. Subject matter may include landscapes, flowers, plants, skies, water, or small natural details.

Media: Watercolor and gouache. Other mediums are accepted as well.

Important Dates

  • Open Call for Students: February 2 – March 14, 2026
  • Submission Deadline: March 14, 2026
  • Notification of Acceptance: March 30, 2026 (via email)
  • Artwork Delivery: April 12, 2026, by 4:00 PM
  • Artwork Pick-Up: May 12, 2026, at 1:00 PM

Eligibility

  • Open to past and current students of Elvira Rascov classes at LGS Recreation
  • Submissions must be original work created by the student
  • Artwork must be hand-delivered and picked up by the student or their representative
  • Artwork may be for sale or not for sale, at the student’s discretion

Entry Fee: Free for students

Juror: Cyra Cowen (Artist)

Artwork Requirements

  • Artwork must be delivered exhibition-ready
  • Framed work must include hanging wire on the back
  • Frames may use glass or plexiglass
  • Maximum framed size: 21″ x 27″

Digital Image Submission Requirements

  • File Type: JPG
  • Dimensions: 1,200 pixels or greater on the longest side
  • File Size: No larger than 3 MB
  • Color Profile: sRGB
  • Images must be high quality, in sharp focus, and a true representation of the artwork
  • Images should show only the artwork (no frame)

Terms of Entry

  • Mangia Mornings Restaurant accepts no liability for loss or damage to artwork during the exhibition
  • Submitted images may be used on https://elviragallery.com to promote the exhibition
