Whether you’re relatively new to watercolor or already have some experience\, you’ll learn practical techniques that will help you paint with greater confidence while developing your own artistic style. Some previous watercolor experience is recommended.\nWhat You’ll Learn \nThroughout this hands-on workshop\, you’ll discover how to: \n    Use a photograph as the foundation for a watercolor painting.\n    Simplify complex landscapes by identifying light and shadow.\n    Create luminous color through layering\, mixing\, and texture.\n    Understand the importance of value sketches for building strong compositions.\n    Follow the complete painting process—from selecting a reference photo and planning your composition to sketching and completing an expressive watercolor painting. \nChoose from a variety of reference photos provided during class\, or bring your own personal photograph to paint from. DESCRIPTION:About this Course \nIn this fun course students will have the opportunity to practice and learn basic to advance techniques in watercolor. Throughout the course there will be different demos and step by step paint-a-long exercises where students will learn and improve their watercolor skills. Students will be able to finish a painting at the end of each class.  This course is designed for all levels of painting.  \nDrop-in option available.
